Cervical cancer: Risk Assessment – and Screeningstest

Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) infections are associated with the development of cervical cancer. The goal of the present research is the development of a HPV screening test for risk assessment based on the MultiFinder / SmartFinder technology. This approach allows testing four different risk factors for the development of cervical cancer within one reaction (viral genotype, viral load, viral physical status, en genomic instability).

This study is performed in collaboration with Pathofinder and is financially supported by the European Economical Stimulation program “OP-Zuid”.
